Compression class and function
This stocking is available in compression classes 1 and 2, and offers graduated pressure from the ankle upwards. This stimulates blood circulation, supports the veins, and helps reduce or prevent symptoms. Compression stockings in class 2 are often recommended for moderate varicose veins, visible swelling, or after surgery, while compression class 1 is suitable for mild symptoms and preventive support.

The Mediven Elegance support stockings are available with a closed or open toe, depending on personal preference or medical indication. There is a choice of different sizes and leg lengths, so the stocking fits well to your individual body shape. Putting on and taking off
Thanks to the soft and elastic material, the Mediven Elegance is easy to put on. For extra ease – especially with higher compression classes – we recommend using a donning aid.

Hygienic crotch
Lipoelastic offers garments with and without a hygienic crotch. Depending on the stage of recovery and your preference, you can make a choice.
For each product, you will find a size chart in the product description and next to the product images. This gives you an indication of the different dimensions.
Despite this information, you are advised to determine your size in consultation with your treating physician.
Please take into account the advice to order two different sizes. You are advised to order one garment in your size and one smaller than your current size. This is because you will swell immediately after the treatment, causing your ready-to-wear size to increase. During the healing process, the fluid decreases, causing your circumference to reduce.
The worn garment will then be too loose, resulting in less compression. This reduces the effectiveness. By wearing a smaller garment at that time, you will again benefit from compression in the correct zones.
